Agency51 understood HR Companion’s focus was on building traffic and worked with them to do this by implementing a number of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques. The ultimate aim was to increase relevant traffic to the HR Companion website which then in turn would lead to an increase in conversions and acquirement of more customers. HR Companion was set up in 2010 by a team of HR professionals who decided there was a need for a HR website that would be easy to use and offer relevant information required by HR representatives.
Following a complete digital marketing audit, opportunities were clearly outlined and together Agency51 and HR Companion began to build an online marketing strategy. Agency51 implemented effective SEO techniques to get the best possible ranking based on selected keywords and phrases, with the focus always on getting HR Companion the most relevant traffic. Meta data was assessed and optimised while filters were added to the site and goals created so data could be monitored to gain market intelligence to further understand the target audience and to track conversions effectively.
SEO & GOAL SETTING
Agency51 worked with HR Companion to define an online marketing strategy that could be delivered to help the HR Companion website retain existing customers, while building brand awareness to acquire new customers. Agency51 delivered a comprehensive digital marketing audit report which outlined a clear vision for HR Companion to follow and provided HR Companion with the fundamental principles and guidelines to follow when working towards a clear marketing strategy.
The Agency51 team created fully optimised page titles and Meta descriptions which they then added across the HR Companion website. Goals and filters were set in Google. On site content was assessed and amended to include clear calls to action with increasing conversion in mind. Agency51 consulted with HR Companion on the use of social media and paid advertising, as well as undertaking link building research to form a content marketing plan.
HR Companion now rank higher than many of their competitors for the keywords and phrases identified in the digital marketing audit completed by Agency51 at the beginning of the project. There has been a 25% increase in visitor numbers month on month and visitors are now navigating through the site much easier, with more pages now viewed and an increase in the average time spent on the website.
Agency51 continue to work with HR Companion in a consultancy capacity, offering advice on future marketing tactics and adhering to SEO best practices.
