Safavet is a UK based company supplying branded veterinary consumable products at competitive prices to veterinary practices, veterinary hospitals, animal charities and similar type organisations. Agency51 worked alongside Safavet to ensure the site was fully optimised to maximise the search opportunity. The Agency51 team advised and recommended a number of marketing techniques be implemented to help Safavet get the best start possible and manage the website effectively themselves.


Agency51 delivered to Safavet a digital marketing starter package which coincided with the new Safavet website going live. This involved Agency51 meeting with Safavet to create a digital marketing strategy, including the development of a keyword strategy and converting terms analysis. Agency51 offered Safavet insight and recommendations for further website optimisation including user journey analysis and conversion techniques. Additional effective onsite content was written and existing content optimised to include key messages and calls to action and all product categories and sub categories now have content created for them. Webmaster tools have been setup and sitemaps submitted to the search engines and selected directories.


We worked with Safavet to ensure the new site was fully optimised. This included the structuring of URLs, writing of Meta data and advising where calls to action should appear. Content was also created with key messages for conversion in mind and Agency51 advised on which images should appear where on the website. Work completed by Agency51 has helped Safavet increase its brand awareness, meaning it now appeals to its target audience, engaging with veterinary practices and professionals. An email was designed and sent out by Agency51 at site launch which proved extremely successful, leading to many transactions with an ecommerce conversion rate of 31.39%.


The Safavet website has continued to see an increase in online transactions and as a result increase in revenue month on month since launch of on average 10%. Traffic from all sources has continued to grow throughout the year, with a 5% month on month increase in organic traffic. The bounce rate has steadily decreased and is now under 20%. Work completed by Agency51 has allowed Safavet to deliver a marketing strategy that works and performs well for their target audience.
